Inspired by the work of Isaac Newton and his studies of light, the typeface and book, "Refraction" was designed to showcase how light bounces, bends, and refracts off of different surfaces.
Sketches for the type face was drawn and inked on paper. The scans were later taken into illustrator to vector.
Once transferred over to illustrator, each letter was vectored and transferred over to a type making tool to create a .ttf file for the typeface.
The final book was printed on 28 lb paper on a Canon PIXMA Pro-100 printer with Canon CLI - 42 series ink and hand bound together.
