Kierkengaard Philosopher Conference

Inspired by Soren Kierkegaard's teachings, his philosophy that life is full of regrets despite whatever choice one decides to make throughout life. He believed that despite having choices in life - choosing one over another decision would leave one filled with regret for not choosing another.

“If you marry, you will regret it; if you do not marry, you will also regret it; if you marry or do not marry, you will regret both; Laugh at the world’s follies, you will regret it, weep over them, you will also regret that; laugh at the world’s follies or weep over them, you will regret both; whether you laugh at the world’s follies or weep over them, you will regret both..."

Initial Ideation

Sketches for the poster stemmed from the game cat's cradle where multiple choices are presented to the player, but by moving forward they are no longer able to change their decision throughout the game. Visuals of this were shot on a DSLR and edited in Lightroom and Photoshop.
